February brings an exciting opportunity to recognize the incredible professionals who make a difference every day in the Seaford School District. We encourage you to consider nominating a staff member for one of our annual honors:
Teacher of the Year (TOY), Educational Support Professional of the Year (ESPOY), and Behavioral Health Professional of the Year (BHPOY).

🔹 Teacher of the Year (TOY)

Eligible nominees must:
Have at least three years of teaching experience in a Delaware public school
Hold a valid Delaware teaching license and certification
Teach regularly assigned classes (media specialists may qualify if they teach classes)
Previous school-level TOY recipients are eligible
🔹 Educational Support Professional of the Year (ESPOY)

Eligible employees include paraprofessionals, custodial staff, secretaries, nutrition staff, bus drivers and aides, and IT support staff with at least three years of experience.
🔹 Behavioral Health Professional of the Year (BHPOY)

Eligible employees include school counselors, social workers, psychologists, nurses, and other licensed behavioral health professionals with at least three years of experience.
